Steve Weinstein, Bobby’s partner. Steve, a killer at the bridge table, was described in Washington as ‘a great guy’ and ‘a real sweetheart’ by those who know him. Steve and Bobby won the 2002 Cavendish Pairs.

Michael Seamon, shown here waiting for a taxi, is another member of the Cayne team, but he and partner Mike Passell were not part of the Cayne team that made it to the semi-finals. What had happened is the Jimmy Cayne had assembled an eight(!) person squad available for the Spingold, and then had to drop two players for the event. As he continues to switch players looking for the winning combination, he decided not to play Seamon and Passell this time. However they will be back in action for the Cayne team when they play in the Montreal World Championship in August.
